Don't know if this question has been answered before but I couldn't find it after a cursury search. I downloaded Core 2.5 on Gamershell last night and added it to a clean install of Doomsday 1.2. Couldn't find 2.5 anywhere else, any links I found directed me to 2.22 or something like that. On looking through the production que for Germany I noted that Germany could build Guided Missile Cruisers and Elephants, in 1936. I looked on the tech tree and sure enough some of the advanced techs were greened out for Germany. Also, Elephants were listed as 1945 tech, when I know they were used at Kursk in 1943 and in Italy in 1944. I think a better name would be Jadgtiger. anyway, back to the main point. Having read many of the threads here I would have to believe that this is some kind of flaw in this installation, seeing as how the Core teams seem to be so much into historical accurancy. So the question is, is there a patch for 2.5 out there somewhere? Or maybe another download location that would render a clean copy of 2.5? If all else fails I could go in and change these things myself, but I don't know if there might be a CVN lurking out there in the Thailand Navy waiting to pounch on the Kreigsmarine.

The main reason you probably couldn't find any on 2.5 is because it actually is version 0.25 we're currently supporting. Version 0.22 is the last of the regular HoI2, while 0.25 is the first of the DD versions. As to your other observations I really wouldn't know, as I haven't played Germany as of late. It surely looks weird though, and I really can't imagine anything like that still unreported, the more so as Germany is the most-played country by far. You're sure you've installed 0.25 and not 0.22? Check out the links on Terranova for all available download sites:

Sorry, but memory placed the decimal point in the wrong place. Yeah, it's .25 from Gamershell and I looked again and sure enough 1936 Germany can build Model 10 Guided Missile Cruisers among other things.

OK, decided to try it again using a program from one of the other download sites. This time when I go to start the game I get a screen with absolutely no scenarios to choose from. What am I doing wrong? I wanted to get this thing up an running before I go in the hospital next week so I can play with it when I get out and have my six week enforced vacation.

You have found us out. It isn't the Thai Navy that you should watch out for, but the Bhutanese Navy instead.
I think you left out the Albanian navy as well Armd... :D

You did install CORE in the regular DD folder, right (it should have a mod-CORE2 directory within the root of your DD dir). If you have I'd opt for a complete reinstall of DD, patches and CORE...
