March 7th -- Rhineland Date

Hmm, I usually move into Cologne immediately, around Jan 6th.
Should I wait for the Franco-Russian event in february?

In most of my games you (as GER) have up until the 7th of March to place troops in Cologne -- in some games (vanilla + some mods) you will get a 3% dissent hit if you don't get your troops in there by then -- I always move mine NLT (No Later Then) 2nd March, 1936.....

Exactly - I've modified the War Demonstration event not to trigger before the historical date of the Re-occupation. Leaves you several days as the German player between that date and when the Franco-Russo alliance is up for ratification (late February). But again, the differences are reasonably minor since the F-R alliance was just a poor excuse and I don't believe for a second that anyone really believed it (that was in a position of influence, at least).

Another bug to point out, but not one that I think deserves it's own thread: Playing as Germany, I rejected the nonintervention pact in regards to Spain and sent massive amounts of aid. However Britain responded to that in their own event came up as an unknown string. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the number.

Eastern Poland to the Soviets: in two successive games (as Ger), this event triggered before I annexed Poland and passes over the terrtories not yet conquered by Ger to SU.

Those that I have already conquered, remain German (what a wonderful exploit opportunity ). Is there a bug here? I remember in a previous vanilla version this event being corrected so that if I accept to honour the pact, all those territories in Eastern Poland go to the Russians.

Also, when I annex Poland, I get a -500 money withdrawal ?!? :wacko:

Found it. The following all occurred at 0:00 hours on July 29, 1936. I guess it's not an unknown string, so much as an event not yet given a name.

We went with Reject the pact and send massive help for the Nationalists! In Spanish War Non-Intervention Pact.

We now guarentee the independence of Nationalist Spain.

Nationalist Spain had Massive German intervention.

United Kingdom went with EAA820202 in The Germans reject the Non-Intervention Pact.
