CORE .40 and GIP - proper installation procedure.

Anyone able to tell me exactly how to do this?

I'm assuming I install dd, then arma, update to latest patch. Now it says install GIP 'in the vanilla directory'. I assume you do not actually have a HOI2 and a HOI2:Armaggedon directory but their is only one?

Finally I install CORE? Do I do that into the directory or is it automatic? I last played .22 and that just installed itself without specifying the original game location.

Cheers for any help.
 
Unless you have Anthology the 'vanilla' directory/folder will be Doomsday.

- install Doomsday into Doomsday folder
- install Armageddon, also into Doomsday folder
- extract Armageddon 1.3 beta 2 patch and copy it to Doomsday folder - it must overwrite existing files to work.
- run Armageddon first - make sure the checksum is PHVR
- run CORE installer - select Doomsday folder as target
- run CORE graphics (either color or B&W) - select Doomsday as target
- run CORE - make sure checksum is LXES
- install GIP into Doomsday folder

Suggest you use a path such as games\doomsday to make it easier.
