While playing with a friend he formed the Polish-Lithuania Commonwealth and we conquered Germany. Now due to high resistance he decided it was best to relase Germany as a puppet. Doing so made him hand over some of his core land as Germany also shares some core land. (On a sidenote I would love to be able to choose which provinces to give a country when releasing them as a puppet or returning territory to a country) Well then his cores disappeared. Later in single player I tried recreating this with other formable nations and then releasing countries and upon doing so my cores would disappear on that land.
