I'm curious... what was the reason or motivation for having the defensive values of Infantry much higher in CORE than in vanilla 1.06?

Not a flame, just trying to understand the reasoning... was there something that the CORE people thought needed more tweaks when compared to vanilla HOI?

This is based on the findings of Mathguy. He noticed that units were talking too many casualties too quickly. The higher GD rating slows combat down. That is the reason that we incorperated those ideas. Copper Nicus or some of the other land combat experts could give you a more technical rationale, but that is the condensed version. MDow
