Exactly. Just keeping up with all those posts can be quite strain at times. The more Betas we enroll the less time we would have for bugfixing, basically. So there is this tradeoff in test capacity versus bugfixing capacity... But you're more than welcome to volunteer for the Beta waiting list, Ruisert!

Well, I kinda already feel like I'm beta testing...
Also, as you can see, I have a bit of ability to fix my own finds. This will increase as I learn more about the game and mod files. I'm having to search all over just to find the relevant files at times. But yeah, I may actually do that if there's a point in it at this late stage.

I did look over the forum on the other site (name escapes me at the mo) and found the Laval Gov bug is old news (and I found my 'fix' didn't) but didn't find anything about the United Front bug. Then again, I really didn't wade through all the posts trying to find it either. Which brings me full circle back to the idea of the comprehensive listing idea. There's a posting on this board of the vanilla HoI2 bugs, that's the sorta thing I'm talking about. Just a nice list of known issues, be nice if there were fixes/workarounds/kludges as well, but hey...

And let me re-iterate that I really do appreciate all the hard work by the modders. I know enough about this sorta thing to know that it can be a lot of work, so all my comments should be taken with that idea in mind.

Hi

for a comprehensive bug list as well as current status check: mantis.terranova.dk and create an account there. Anyone can join and report bugs and get direct feedback from the CORE developers.

cheers

Uh, yeah that's it, the terranova site... I think I had to create an account to DL the mod in the first place. Can't remember, I've slept since.

I guess I'm gonna have to get involved, this thing is sucking me in like few games ever have.

Actually, there are two:
www.terranova.dk CORE forums (amongst others)
mantis.terranova.dk CORE bugtracking system

Both require a separate registration. :)

Actually, the mantis site uses the terranova reg, I was just there. Unfortunately, I've apparently forgotten both my password AND the email account I used when creating the account, so I'm unable to access the mantis site at all and can't log in to the terranova site until I figure out one or the other...

Bother.

I did not find any reference to the ComChi bug on the terranova board at all. I'm wondering if anyone's even noticed it, unless they've wondered why the Japanese always seems to do so well against China.

Please send a PM to Ghost about it, if you please. He'll be able to help you out. :)

How's it going with 0.40? I've been playing core 0.3.2 for a while now and I'm looking forward to 0.40. Keep up the good work!
Slow but steady. Can't give you any up-to-date specifics, as I've been pretty much out of the loop for two weeks (holiday), but as I read it it's mostly the AI that needs further tinkering.

cool, very much looking forward to the new release, i now only play this mod, good work on your last version and thanks for making this mod series
Yep, we often get the 'complaint' that once you've tried CORE the rest seems kind of 'bland'. We'll do our utmost to get 0.4.0 out a.s.a.p., that's for sure.
