corrupt saves

Sometimes I get corrupt saves when reloading and get the choice to abort,retry or ignore. I usually chose ignore but then go start a new game because I figure the game will crash.
But the corrupt load usually says expense or income ledger error so was wondering if anyone plays through without problems?
I know this is late but 1.03b is sweet. I had all kind of crashes and the game was slow on my computer with 1.03. But 1.03b only one problem and was a tainted save that I might have been able to play through.

Hmmm,

I've seen and read of people experiencing this before, but I can't say I've ever had it happen to me personally.

I always set autosave to every five months, though. I swallow the pauses and just know that I'll find it worthwhile when I eventually have a game that crashes. Until someone can help you out, I recommend you do that. That way you still have an autosave that's at most five months behind.

I've read somewhere that the music can cause CTD's. Is it manualy or auto saves? If so, just manually save. Or the other way round. Try reinstalling the game if it continues, perhaps when it was updated a game file corrupted or something.

That happened with me once. I installed VIP and saved a game, later I unistalled VIP and when I tried to open the savegame it was corrupt!

Check if you have any mod installed.

If not reinstall Victoria.

I have not had anyone report this to me as happening on 1.03B.
Next time it happens then keep a copy of the game and check with the bug forum if one of the mods wants you to e-mail the game to them.
