I am playing using ver. 1.02 and had the game crash once. I was playing 1936 as USA and know whenever I load the save file it gives me an error with the data files. I can still load the save game if I choose to ignore the error and Im not sure what data was missing because everything seems to be there. Then about 45 min into playing the game will crash. Doesnt do this with older saves. This problem also occures with any new saves I preform. Just wondering if there is any way to fix the save game file so I can coontinue, or do I need to reistall the game? Does that erase all saved games?

This sounds like it's more related to an event bug of some description rather than anything else. Something happened prior to the save you mentioned and is now "grandfathered" in all future saves from that game. If that's the case, a re-install won't fix it because it's an error embedded in the save file itself. I think you'll have to "retreat" to an earlier save that doesn't prodcue the error and play forward from there.
