Hello.

I have seen two threads on this but they do not apply to me. I am using a netbook but can run 1024x768. I cannot run this res in 16bit though. Could that be the reason? I appreciate help in advance.

Like I said, I viewed 2 threads. That was one of them. I can run 1024x768 as I stated in the first post, so his fix does not help me. The only problem there could be is the fact I cannot seem to run 1024x768 in 16bit. I do not know how to force this.

Some people gets problem with the bink player, and the game can crash after the video has run. If you rename the avi folder the bink player will not run.

To change to 16 bit:

Right click on the desktop, select properties. Select the tab to the right. there you can change colour to 16 bit.

(Thanks for the help so far by the way. Really appreciate it)

Okay, I tried renaming the AVI folder, the video didn't play but it just crashed like it has been.

I know how to change the colour depth but it appears my hardware does not support 16bit at 1024x768 (only 32bit) resolution. I cannot seem to find a work around for that. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks again.

Well, I have searched this forum for more info, but I can't find any solution.

Are you sure that you running in the correct resolution?

The only difference I see between you and other people that have the same problem, is that you is using steam version.
