Ok, this was my first game. It was on easy/easy mode, give me a break, I am trying to learn how to play it.
I played Russia. After Germany declared war on Russia in April of 1940 I took over Germany, France and Italy by the summer of 1941. Then after a while France reverted to France (not sure of exact time/date) as I was playing around in Asia. My units in France had white flags on and they could not move in France, but could move to a location outside of France. They could not take replacements either. The same thing happened to my units in China. They could not take replacements, I could move them in China, but all squares said they were owned by Nationalist China, not Russia (but I had just taken them).
I had not tried diplomacy at all, and I was trying it in Asia to see if I could get Rubber or to see what it would do. Perhaps this is what caused the problems? What would cause the borders to revert? I checked the message log and I didn't see anything that would indicate an event that would explain this.
If anyone has any hints it would be appreciated. Thanks.
