Might I petition for including a 'Weimar Germany' using the FDR or DDR tags?

This will not only remove the problem of having events sleeping and waking hundreds of tech teams/ministers/leaders, but also gives Germany its correct Weimar flag.

Sure - I already intended them to use the DFR tag. :)

Are the Weimar ministers the same ones of a democratic German government? Or do you have an event transforming Germany (GER) on Weimar Germany (DFR) if they turn democratic meanwhile? :)
 
The only way Weimar germany can be created is through the treaty of Versailles.
 
I was thinking, we do have a fair amount of African nations tags, would it be possible to make a few of them avaliable for release as puppets, but instead the more democratic the leaders would be British governors of the captured German colonies and more autocratic the German ministers and governors of the colonies would be in control. Like say Libya, Facsist it is ruled by the Italians, Democratic it is ruled by the British or similar libyans etc...i'm just asking for 3 or 4 of them, mainly the German African colonies (except for Togo) as i can find out (most probabaly) the ministers and generals etc for them, the colonies i'm on about are:
Tanganika, Kamerun, Namibia, maybe Rhodesia.....so any ideas...i can find out the nessesary ministers, well for most of them and even a few of the Colonial generals... i know the chances of them being independant are slim, but then again, so are probably Indias etc..so any idea, i can write up the ministers and general with pictures (if i can find them) in no time...any ideas?

EDIT: what about one of the Cossack republics like the Don-Kuban-Terek Cossack union? That would be very intesrting to play would it not? plus they did exist historically, although maybe not as official countries but, i just thought it would add some nice flavour to the whole civil war period...

I don't think that it will be necessary to devote tags to African colonies. The normal test of whether a state is deserving of a separate tag is if it was afforded recognition as an independent entity, and if it conducted its own foreign affairs. This, of course, does not apply for colonies. :)

I'd also rather use those tags for some interesting national breakups like the spliting up of Germany or France, etc.
 
Weimar Germany will, as previously said, come into play after the treaty in Versailles, hence a silent takeover. Possibly done by an event called 'Weimar Constitution' or something like that.
 
Which are the nations in 1914 and how many free tags we do still have?

I only notice Bavaria in Germany, what about Saxony, Prussia and Wurttemberg?

if you want i can try to find out possible ministers for Saxony, Prussia and Wurrtemberg, although i'd imagine Prussia is easier than say Wurttemberg..but i'll get straight onto the case of ministers fro those german minors..if you decide not to include them than thats ok...but i'll do research anyway...
 
seems like we have less than 100, but list is not updated I see no Weimar, and why Kingdom of Serbs, Croats...have same id as Serbia, will that work correctly?

The reason that Bavaria is the only one in is that the Bavarian communists were briefly independent from Germany.

If there are free tags available then having the other large German states available for creation would be :cool:
 
Formally, Persia stayed neutral in World War I. A pro-German PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT was established at Ghom, later it moved to Kermanshah, where it held out through the war.
However, Ottoman forces in Dec. 1915 occupied TABRIZ in Iranian Azerbaijan, which thus became battleground. With the Russian advance into Armenia, the front moved away from Iranian territory; in 1916 the Turks advanced again, and in early 1918 again they held a considerable area in Iranian Azerbaijan, including Tabriz. Iranian Azerbaijan was of strategic importance, as it provided a shortcut to the oil-rich province of Russian Azerbaijan (Baku).
In 1915 the British had occupied BUSHIRE , in order to secure the oil fields in Khuzistan, exploited by the ANGLO-PERSIAN OIL COMPANY.

should we have the Turkish occyupation in some form of events, or do we already have events showing the part Persia played in the war on the eastern front...althought not official at all etc..
 
We do have some events about russian intervention in Persia, the occupation of Bushire and the possibility of Persia going to war with either the entente or central powers.

The closest thing we got to Tabriz, though was that in the Kaiserschlacht scenario in TGW, I gave the Ottomans Tabriz. Allenby clamied that the scenario was 'unfit for release', though, so it never existed outside mine or Allenbys computer.
 
Do we need an Ulster, wouldn't be better to give it to Ireland?

What about a Czech and Slovakia separated Revolters?
And a Scotland and England for a totally defeated UK?
