My game is crashing at the end of the battle. As soon as you flee and the enemy stops pursuit, click okay to end battle, then the game crashes. It used to be fine at this stage. However, I disabled the music, and played some songs on windows media player and it started crashing at this point. I cut off windows media player, turned music back on, but now it still crashes at the end of battle. How can this be fixed? Thanks.

I am having the same problem as well i dont know about the playing Windows media file but it started kust before i installed the directors cut and continues after i installed directors cut i am using Vista 32 bit with Q6700 CPU and Nvidia 8600GT graphics card here is my log html file.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Same error seems to crash when trying to go to the battle mode now also the crashes are getting a lot more frequent now however i am no longer having the original problem with it freezing at the end of the battle however while the problems may be different they all caused by the same error as the logs are exactly the same.

Does the game crash on every battle for you, or is there some pattern to it?
Could you all give more details about this problem, like, what version of the game you're running, and did you continue a saved game from earlier version.

Thank you.

Hello, yes when I'm playing the Grand Campaign, it crashes every time I try to fight out the battle (auto-resolve works fine). It will go to the loading screen, load about 3/4 of the bar, then the sound distorts, and it crashes to desktop.

This is the first time I've played a campaign, so it's not a continuation. This is the Director's Cut version.

Same here, any way to get some sort of logs on this so we can get some workable info to the devs to bust out a solution.

I almost had crashes every battle (probably due to the fact they tend to take a while), otherwise I never had noticable problems with this game (a few occasional crashes, but nothing near as bad as this).

Anyway, trouble started when I upgraded to this designer's cut thingy (allso got pirate bay as well, haven't yet checked there)

Anyway, if there's a way I can give valuable info about this, just shoot, I'll see whatever info you guys need to krack this thing.

Edit. I've tried to do some naval battles with graphics turned at lowest, so far, no crashes, not yet cartain, but perhaps you guys should test this as well, they did add some extra graphics so that might be related to it.

Friendly Regards.

Slightly different CTD here. I was in the middle of a battle (I had been fighting for about 15 minutes) and the screen went black. The music stuttered and then CTD. The battle wasn't over, it was still going strong.

The auto save-game began just at the battle screen and I was able to play through without a problem. Going to be impossible to recreate.

EIC: Designer's Cut crashes whenever I enter a battle, as well. However, if I set the graphics detail to low (I've tried medium as well, which didn't work), it doesn't do this. I'm using an ATI Radeon 4850, and the latest Catalyst drivers (version 9.11) on Windows 7 - 64 bit. It didn't do this on the pre-designer's cut version.
