Hi all,
I have a serious technical problem in Monster Kingdom:

Campain Scenario: For Crown and Honor
Time: Minute 21
Problem: Game crashes (Pop-up window informs me about the crash)

I play the game under Windows 7. I had no crashes at all in any other of the scenarios (in none of the games). Just in this scenario. I restarted it over and over again, and it always seems to crash in the same freaking minute (minute 21). Maybe there's an triggered event at that point, I don't know. I just want to go on an finish this stuff, need help plz!

Can you show the pop-up window?
 
This is exactly what the box says (and it does not alway start at minute 21... but around the time, maybe some other event...)

Hmmm... looks like a problem with C++.

Did you try to download and install the latest version of it?
If not then: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5555
And try the game.
 
Status report:
  • Downloaded C++ -> doesn't help
  • Error occurs when heroes go to north/east of the map (to the imps)
  • If there is sth wrong with map, why does this only happen to me? I wasn't informed that I bought a beta version...

Any other suggestions? This is serious annoying...

Maybe the map is corrupted (probably is) since the map is playable for me and few other people on youtube. I can even explore the whole map. So your best bet is to reinstall the game. And don't forget to copy your profile to some safe place!
 
Such thing as "corrupted" has less than 1% of occurring in any instance. Most likely it would not load at all.

I believe that under certain conditions, the map throws out an error. Not all players meet these conditions, and it is playable for them. Maybe some side quest, some zone, etc, etc... Could be nearly anything.

final monster kingdom mission. In my game Ive taken out the north and west grave yards and got the central tradepost. havnt really been able to get much further cos it just keeps crashing. Same error as above. really sucks cos im pretty sure im only about 20mins from completing it.
 
Tell me as much as you can about this mission. What day does it crash? What buildings, and how many do you have built? Are there many units/enemy units on the map? Did the map lag before it crashed?
 
its crashes any day. nothing really particular on days, I got every building except magic bazaar. I got 2 lich guilds. No lag. periodically a group of heroes come down. problem is its just really really random.

Im at about 63 days
