Crash on clicking singleplayer!!! NEED HELP!!!

Im a ravid fan of HOI2 and as you would imagine being unable to play it sux.

Now just before i start i wanna say i no longer have my hoi2 armageddon disc.

So dont suggest uninstall/reinstall.

Ok so i woke up 4 days ago bored and decided to play my hoi2 arma save.

however after the loading screen when the options popped up i clicked singleplayer and then outta no where it crashes saying i send/dont send error report and im like -.-.

I tried over and over again but still it kept crashing.

All other buttons work. Multiplayer/tutorial/credits. All work fine.

But i wanna play single player hoi2. ANy suggestions folks?

Try renaming the avi folder. It doesn't matter what you change the name to but the opening movie run by the Bink player causes some serious stability issues in many(some) PC's. This is a rather common problem here and this is the solution a majority of the time.

If that doesn't help try updating your audio and video drivers.

I am having the same problem. HOI DD ARM worked fine up until three days ago. Suddenly it started crashing whenever I tried to start a single player game. I've reinstalled, patched, edited the registry, nothing works.

Ok, got it to run. It's the avi issue. Rename the avi folder and the game will start normally.
