Crash on specific date

I'm playing as Germany and have had the Bitter Peace (though I cheated to get it) and it's now June 25 1942. I have just invaded and conquered Great Britain. Everything is going perfectly. Except for one major thing: I'm not able to play any further than to 11 o'clock. It's very annoying and I have no clue whatsoever what is causing this crash. The game simply exits to the desktop, no error message or anything.
So my question to you is: Do you know what to do about it?
