This happens after every patch.
Steam updated CK2 to 1.05d, I press play, I get the splashscreen and various "loading" messages at the top, then when it gets to calculating checksum, the game CTD and the icon is still in the taskbar. Clicking it brings up a black screen for a few seconds and then it crashes again. Verified cache through Steam and nothing else updated.
This is the error posted in the graphics.log file (I cleared the contents before launching again, so I know the error was generated on launch).
It may or may not be important. None of the logs held anything (except errors and that was just a missing graphics file - previously reported).
[provincetemplate.cpp:250]: Province 0 has invalid origin
[eu3graphicalmap.cpp:1872]: Invalid port location for province 1, center at 136,215, port location at 126.000, 277.000
Last time I had to completely reinstall twice before the game would work. I shouldn't have to do that.
Why is the patching process corrupting the game? Obviously something is wrong with it as a clean install (eventually) works.
