Crash when I quit the game (windows 7)

Hello it's me agin with a new probleme yay !!!

First of all, since I have a new laptop (asus pc notebook with windows 7) I can run eu rome gold. That's great, the gameworks perfectly, I am having fun with it playing as rome but each time I want to quit the game,. I'ts says when I am on the desk that the game had a problem and had to quit. After that, my desk is frozen and I have to force closing my session . Nothing lost except each time all my save games on rome. Am I the only one who is having this technical problem ? Did someone had this problem and fix it ? PLEASE HELP I love this game but I hate crashing and after losing all my saves

We have had other reports of it crashing on exit, but not that it freezes your desktop. And certainly not that it destroys all your saved games, I don't see how that is possible. Could it just be they are hidden by Win7's Virtual Store feature? Navigate to the Rome saved games folder and if they are not there, click on the Compatibility Files button.

What version and checksum do you have? They should show on the main game menu, but some folks have to go to start an MP game as host to see them.

Please run DXDIAG, Save All Info, and post dxdiag.txt here (first delete everything after the Sound Devices section so it will fit). Also post your Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log files. Note that if you use Vista/Win7 and have installed the game in the suggested folder c:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\, the active versions of these last two files will have been redirected by Vista/win7 to a non-system directory, like c:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis - Rome\, where [name] is your Vista/Win7 user name. You may have to search your C: drive for them.

Well I accidently touch sometime that fix a bit the problem but my save folder is acting strangely...
