here's how it goes.
i wasn't having this problem when using ck2+ 4.01, which i've updated about a week ago.
now, i was planning to play as king of rome, a custom made kingdom through the decision, but i don't like it not having any de-jure lands in it. so i added a few lines to the ck2+ decision from the vanilla ones ( since ck2+ removed the line that specify the decision to grant dejures upon creation ).
anyway, now whenever i use the search box, the moment i press the first letter, boom. ctd. i thought it was because my kingdom name starts with an R, so it only crashes on that. nope, a number of other letters will give me ctd too. however there are some that wont, although i've noticed some small "lags" when they're displaying the titles.
now i thought maybe my save file is screwed. restored the original ck2+ realm_decision.txt, started a fresh char, hit the search box, typed the first letter and crashed again. this time i was on a fresh start as a count, no custom titles anywhere on the map, and it crashes on me out of the box.
oh and i also use these mods with ck2+, without any known conflict prior to this, and i tried restarting without these mods in play, same result.
- invisible political map mode
- sketchy traits and cheat menus for ck2+
- additional shields
so here's the problem, i don't know which factor causes the crash,
was it because i was updating from 4.01 to 4.04?
was it because i added the few lines to the decision?
did the decision permanently registers a new kingdom in the mod upon creation? ( which isn't possible cuz after years of playing you'd notice the game gonna be bloated as hell with random kingdoms if it is so )
any thoughts? its possible to just play the game normally but i really need to use the search box to look at roman empire's requirement ducal titles...
