Thought I'd report this bug in an otherwise excellent game.

When I pick a country from the pick list that you get by right clicking in the diplomacy window the game crashes to the desktop. It's happened to me the two times I've tried this. I was able to succesfully pick a country once, but the second time it crashes.

I am using the american version.
I've been playing alternate countries in the GC (Scotland and Genoa)

Athlon 700
128 Meg Ram
GeForce 2 (6.18 drivers)
DirectX 8.0

Not too big a deal. As the old joke goes 'if it hurts when you do that, don't do that.'

I've been learning to play on the Grand Campaign game as Russia and have noticed this bug on the American version as well. I appreciate ya'lls responsiveness to this problem.
On an unrelated matter, why is there no save option in the tutorial? The tutorial seems pretty good, but I haven't been able to devote enough time in one sitting to work through it. As a result, I've been playing around on the GC instead. Any chance a save option will be added to the tutorial with the new patch?
Irregardless of the above I would like to add that EU looks like a great game. Many thanks for ya'lls efforts in bringing a game like this to the US.

The answer to your question is yes... In the next patch you WILL be able to save in the tutorial...

Crash in Diplomacy...

Crashes for me too...somehow I think it just waits for the right time to strike...You know, when it's been about 20 years(in game) since you've saved. Cursed! Cursed! Cursed! Now, I always auto-save every year.
