Crash While Saving!

OK, now I have another problem. I have Windows ME (soon to be XP). I can play the game just fine. The problem is when I try to save a game. The entire game just crashes and I can't play anymore. I have to restart the entier system. Is there some fairly easy way this can be fixed? I didn't have these problems on Windows 98.

How much RAM do you have?
Do you have the latest patch? (1.09)
Did you try deleting all your saved games and saving on a new file?
Did you try starting a new game and saving it?

The next patch, due any day now, should help.
However EU was not tested on Windows XP (it wasnt out). Might I suggest that you do not change the OS again until EU2 comes out.
In the meantime just rely on the Auto Save.

i must disagree with UD plz do change your OS anything better then window ME. i am a microsoft addict but that OS is a gamer's nightmare.
