Whenever I try to start Cities Skylines with my saved game with mods enabled, I get a crash error while loading my save. How can I find out what causes this? I have the crash files, if anyone can understand. Please help, I haven't been able to access my save for months.

No, I can log in and play without any mods, there is no problem. But when I activate the mods, even if I open a new save, it still crashes.
I'm not an expert on this topic but I think you have to enable mods one by one and try to find the issue. Enable just one mod and run the game and see if there is any issue or not then enable 2nd mod and observe the game then 3rd and so on. Its not necessary that you have some bad mod that is causing the problem, too many good mods can also lead you to crash because they eat system resources greatly. and during this process keep your eye on your system resources. So do this hit-and-trial method to find the culprit and let me know if it's fixed.

I found the solution, I tried to access my saves by lowering the graphics settings and I was able to enter, I think there is insufficient RAM.

But unfortunately, there was a problem with my old save. I can enter the save, but when I enter, the map looks completely corrupted and I encounter the following error message; 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' what is wrong this save.

Please check your mods against this list:
Make sure to check the tab "Broken"

If you still get this problem after removing or replacing any bad ones, attach here the game's log file:

With only 8gb of system memory you don't have enough to use mods or custom assets at all - that is the bare minimum for the game to run at all.

Please:

- expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb
- unsubscribe from any mods and assets you don't actually need or use - they all consume memory all the time, even when not in use in the current city
- exit every other app you can before starting the game.

Good luck with that!
