I downloaded the 1.08 patch for the Danish version, and the dk_fix, but there are still some minor bugs in the game:

1. the diplomacy section is still a bit unstable. I was playing as England in GC and France had just declared war on me, and whenever I tried to 'offer peace' then the game would crash out to the desktop.

2. I played as Denmark and tried to use diplomacy with the 'hansa-states' which also crashed the game.

3. Encountered one bug when changing from Catholic to Protestant and adjusting the protestant glider..
Note: this only happened once, so it has to be with a specific province, Don't know which.

this was the only flaws I could find in th game, it is far more playable then the 1.07c version.

My spec are:
PII 400
128 sdram
Riva TNT 2 m64
Win98 (no upgrades)
soundblaster live player 1024

Hi,

When I accessed the Support forum and saw several posts regarding the Danish crash bug I thought it referred to the one I experience whenever I want to – yes that means it is reproducible.

Its pretty simple – playing as Denmark I always have excess diplomats, it is due to the fact that when I access the diplomacy screen and browse around Europe for suitable nations to offer a royal marriage the game crashes to desktop every time I try to access a nation at war. So whenever someone declares war on me and I try to offer peace the games crashes!!

Well I am not quite sure that this applies to every nation in the world, but just of my head I can remember both majors (France and Poland-Lithuania) and minors (Brandenburg).

I have a savegame that reproduces this crash whenever it is loaded and the diplomacy screen is accessed and France selected. I will send it to Paradox asap – just wanted to hear if anyone else had the same problem.

Furthermore I must say that there are a lot of annoying errors regarding the Danish text. Many places where the text is to long, several places where the text is missing and some places where the translation is blurred.

Last but not least I want to say that EU by far is the best strategy game I have played on the computer – ap-plause to Paradox. Also the support from Paradox has been really good. The forum to is unique I have been following it (without writing) since the start of the betatest – I actually applied but missed it by a week.
