Just installed Victoria3 on Ubuntu 24.04 AMD 7. Early into the first campaign would crash every 2 hours or so, now crashes every 20 minutes. What files should I attach for troubleshooting?

In the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.
If those don't help:
Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/crashes/ folder, attach here the latest (only!) exceptions.txt
Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

I can't seem to find those file locations. I'm running ubuntu 24.02, and my documents folder doesn't anything for paradox interactive. The most relevant I can find is /home/<username>/snap/steam/common/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Victoria 3
Ah, you are using snap! That does not work well with our games. You need to use the native Linux client from Valve:

Although I'm not sure that's got anythign to do with this issue.
The documents files ought to be under .local/share/Paradox\ Interactive/Victoria\ 3/ I think.

I've changed over to the native linux client, but my game is still crashing. Anyway, attached are the requested files. I was a little unsure because there was a logs file nested in the crashes file, but I decided to stick to exactly where you pointed me in you first reply and these are the files I found. The ctrl c + v of the system info from steam help is attached.

Nothing in that exceptions log I see. There are probably more in those crash folders you mention, anything useful in them?
Otherwise I see no clear reason for this. With 14gb of system memory you could be running low, try unloading every other app you can before starting the game, and make sure you have a decent swap/paging file set up; I recommend 32gb in Windows these days.
If that doesn't help; are these crashes reproducible from a save file? or when you reload,you camn play past the point it crashed before, and it dgoes for another 20 minutes?
If the latter case, what CPU and GPU temps are you seeing after, say, 10 minutes' play?
