Crashes after a few minutes in game

I got the recent patch and now after I load up my save game and play for a bit the game crashes with the message " CK2 has stopped working "
I can reload the game and reload the save file but after a few minutes it will crash again.
Any fix?

Does this only happen with one or some particular saves? Is a newly-started game OK?

What version and checksum show on the main game menu? please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the "Sound devices" section for brevity), settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload).

Are you sure it's the same exact problem? You can play for a while then it crashes? Because your system.log looks nothing like your dxdiag, and that's what we see when the game crashes during startup, not after successfully starting a game. Basically it is always better to start your own fresh thread with full problem and system details, rather than tag on a "me too" post.
