Crashing at startup of game

Xbox one: the game is not even loading at this point. As soon as i get to the rotating loading icon after the “press any button to start” screen, the game crashes to the xbox home.
It worked fine yesterday. I had previously deleted all other empires, theres only one save file. Hasn’t crashed until now.

Is this issue continuing? if so, there are a few things to try:
Completely shut down your console, unplug for 30 seconds and then plug back in, and load the game again
Uninstall the game, and then reinstall the game

Uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to solve the issue. I’ll be sure to let you know if I run into it again. Thanks
