This is what it says in my saved Ottoman File. This is an example of what I discovered in my saved files. I save the game, and then later when I load it, the game crashes. I don't really understand it, as I am not a programmer, but somebody told me this was the problem. Is this a common problem in EEP with the latest version of EU? Is anyone else having crashing problems when loading a saved EEP game?

No one can answer my dire concern?

I have the same problem.

I cannot continue with my destrouction of the French and The Hapsburgs With my beloved Burgundy...

It Chrashes at the same date around 1520 :(

The file posted above looks like a config file, not the actual savegame. This file only saves your game settings. Their should be a seperate, much larger file with the actual savegame.

I was told there was no problems with that one though.

Have you tried subbing another cfg? Take one that works and rename it to the malfunctioning one. (backup the old one, just in case) The cfg probably has no information tied directly to the game, just the resolution, difficulty, naming and sound settings.

If the save is already shot, trying this couldn't hurt, anyway.

They are all like that though.:(

If this is the only file damaged than just delete it. The only thing that should happen is that all settings will be default. (Game speed, message options, etc) I've deleted those before w/ no problems.
