Is there a way to add a brand new character to a country? I was looking at instructions at least for modifying characters yesterday, but now I can't track down the thread again.

Under Deus Vult, do created courtiers develop stats normally?

i added a newborn son as a courtier. Mostly because i was finding that the naming wasn't random.

Well, that fixed one problem but created another. Turns out the starting character didn't improve his stats (i set them at 0) - but all his later siblings with the predictable names turned out to be developing normally.

Then most likely created characters don't develop stats.
