I just had my first CTD. I was playing as the USA in the 1936 scenario. It was sometime in mid-March, 1936. I was in the process of consolidating and reorganizing all of my fleets. I had moved some of the Atlantic fleet to Los Angeles, so there were roughly 39 ships there, organized into five fleets.
One of these fleets was the fleet of 5 subs that starts in that port. I decided to break this fleet up into 5 separate fleets. So I started breaking the subs out one at a time, using the Create new Unit button in the army display box. When I did this for the third time, the game crashed as soon as I clicked the Create new Unit button.
I do not have any saves from this game, so I can't try to reproduce this problem or check the date. The game was paused while I was doing this.
I'm running an Athlon 1200 w. 384 megs of RAM, WinMe, Radeon VE card, DirectX 8.1. I believe all of my drivers are up to date.
