Hey guys,

I'm just preparing to dig into modding CKII. The De Jure system looks a lot different from the EU3 province ownership system, though, and I'd like to know where to start. Anyone got the time for a quick walkthrough or point to some previous documentation? It would probably make a good sticky, too.

Most of what you need to know can be found in this sticky "[TUTORIAL] Creating new provinces/counties".

What it doesn't say is how to add a kingdom though. That is easy, just add

k_whatever = {
color={ xxx xxx xxx }
color2={ 255 255 255 } (don't know what this does)
}

And within those brackets the duchies and within the duchy brackets the counties, and within the county brackets the baronies. That and the tutorial I hinted to is all you need to know.
