I installed DAIM (perhaps not correctly) and I got the following error:

Critical Error! Missing Event Database:
db\events\AI_BOL.TXT
Do you still want to continue?
Abort Retry Ignore

Choosing ignore results in HOI2 crashing.

Any suggestions?

Which version of HoI are you using? DAIM is for HoI 2 1.3b and DD 1.2 (two separate installers, by the way), other versions aren't supported.
