I was tring to load a saved game, I got a critical error box. The message was as follows

--- ERROR : (Unexpected Field) 'merchant ={'Line = 4964 file = scenarios\save games\Muscowy.eug ---
Do you still want to continue.
Got the three usual options
So I said ignore
I got another critical error
--- ERROR : (Unexpected Field) 'tag = KOL' Line =4964 file = scenarios\save games\Muscowy.eug ---
Do you still want to continue
So I said ignore
I got another error this time an illegal top level object error.
I think every one sees where this is going.

Before any one ask no I did not edit the EUG file myself. I did not even look at the sucker. There is however rather a small probelm here. Any suggestions?

To give more information. I have three saved games from that particular game. The one I tried to load, the auto save and one I had saved because the AI was doing weird things with its troops. I thought this could be a bug and wanted to play it several times form this point to see it just happened (it could have been how the random number generator was seeded for that particular game). None of them will load all giving the same problem. Although in my opinion it appears that there are different tags missing in each of eug files. It has not effected previous saved games on the same patch number (1.02).
New games I created and just saved in Jan 1419 will reload fine. So I don't what every has gone wrong only went wrong for that game (One of the new games was a muscowy game in case it was the country). I can confirm that the AI was behaving strangely in this game.

To explain I was Muscowy and I had a royal marriage with Sweden. Sweden is at war with Denmark, but its troops appeared to be doing some sort of formation dance rather than actually attack. (It was as if an AI action trigger a new action which then re-triggered the old action again, not knowing how the AI is programmed I can not say for sure. However this did not result in deadlock the troops where slowing moving into concentrated armies.) It took the AI about 2 years I sat and watched it before it had enough troops to go and attack Denmark. (For those of you who care Denmark's AI obvious decided that the other Baltic powers it was fighting were more important and its troops were busy fighting the other usual suspects Pommerania, Mecklingburg etc..

ok, sorry for answering late.

I've checked your game, edited your game files and tried to find the references, but couldn't see anything weird, so I sent it to Johan (lead programmer) for him to have a look at.
