All of the sudden whenever I try to load any save game in Arma 1.2, I get this error:

Already used!

I have gotten this error too, but with a different number after the slash. I found that when you hit "ignore" it lets you play, but this could cause problems - I don't know for sure.
I have received similar errors in past games as well! 
It doesn't appear that you are going to get any answers either to a 'fix' or a reason for this error. I really don't understand why HOI2 is so buggy ... very disappointing!!!!!
