Hi All,
I am just curious to see if there is any interest in a MP Game in this time slot. I would like to see a reliable crew thats wants to play a whole campaign. I would like to play a kingdom game since I like to have human interaction as soon as possible. Strong duchies are not a problem either.

Rules:(Blatantly stolen from other games)

1)Can only Usurp Duke and King Titles:

I like this rule mainly because it keeps people from rapidly conquering another persons area. Slow systemic conquering with many wars is what I would like to see happen betwen players.

2)Pagans and Muslims: All Pagans and Muslims in Europe, Russia, and traditional Christian Areas(Byzantine Anatolia) are fair game. North Africa, Egypt, and the Levant can only be attacked through a crusade up till 1250, then it is all fair game. Just for a further clarification, if the Pope declares a crusade against Jerusalem, Jerusalem as well as all the provinces surrounding it would be considered fair game.

This rule is just so there will be Muslims arouns for a while. I have a fear of seeing all religious eliminated by 1125.

I dont think the game needs any more rules than that.

Also, these rules are open for discussion. As a first time CK MP player I realize this may not be the best way to do things and I am open to suggestions.

Uhh, it's 5am - 9am by GMT+2.

That's pretty early.
Maybe you can play on other time during weekends?
Most players here are from Europe and that time is exactly when we sleep..

But there is certainly interest for a well-complected kingdom game if not the time.
 
What day is it?
Is it the only time you can play even on weekends?
 
Hmm, I might be interested. Don't know how many more players you'd be able to scrounge up. In case you're interested and able to play Sundays check out the Omni Ab Deo (or as I call it, the "Itching Game") thread, we only had 4 sessions so far (and had to redo a session :mad: ) so we just entered the 12th century.
 
Hmm, that's a pretty nice timeslot for me if on a Friday. And with the Great Game moving on to EU2, I'd be quite interested in another CK MP; I find I really enjoy the more dynastic approach. We'd be playing the 1066 scenario, right? Perhaps I'd take Kiev or Novgorod and form Mother Russia.

Like I told Travkin, this time is the only time for me. I have three rugrats and other commitments any other time. Thanks for the invite though. I have a couple of leads of a few others

Wouldnt you be better in the Kingdom of Georgia?? Seems safer.
 
Hmm... I'd like to be in, but I believe the timeslot might be just a bit (an hour or so) early for me.
 
Safe? What do you mean, safe? It's my enemies who need to be worried about safety. :D Anyway, I like the Kievan Rus : They're basically Vikings, plus all the power of the Russian steppes!
 
Ahh, nice positive response so far. Two things.

1)Please state your top three choices for Kingdoms/Duchies you want to play.

2)Do we have a suitable host among this group?

Look forward to hearing from you and does anyone have a problem with a Febuary 3rd start date if we get enough folks??

1) Bohemia
Hungary
Saxony (would they count as a powerfu duchyl?)
2) don't know about hosting, so far the comp freezes every time I try :mad:

Feb 3 sounds good to me. :cool:
 
Yeah, pretty close to saying Suenik is the Heaven of Safety..:D
 
Hungary - smack pechenegs right away, later pick up anyone who splits away from Byz and proceed to Cuman->Transoxiana->Persia..;)
