Well, as for my hosting ability, the Brighthouse tech will not be here until tommorrow. It is really hit and miss with my connection right now.

I dont know if it is worth it to go with 4 people. It is too bad that Kujy had to leave. I was going to fight him over Bohemia last session. I would like to ear from KoM and Wilcox on what they think. If worse comes to worse, maybe we can skip a week while my connection gets fixed and start again or continue on with our old game.

I will be here later to see what people think.
 
Hum. Well, if the hosting is like last week, there is really not much point in playing. As for having four people, I must admit, the game has been rather static lately. Shall we call it a noble effort, and see if we can manage to get together a game with more people, perhaps at a different time? I have enjoyed playing with you all, and would like to see a game with a bit more life to it.

Part of that static effort has been my fault. I was too peaceful for too long. Oh well, I am usually pretty active in war.

As for another time, what do you have in mind?? Time is pretty limited for me. I know Justinian expressed interest in a weekday game.
 
Well, I think that if nothing else, we should skip today in order to see if CC can get his hosting issues resolved.

If we decide to abandon this game, I'd be more than happy to try to find another game, but my time is awkward. Weekday nights work best for me. Weekend nights are pretty much impossible...even Friday night was starting to get problematic.
 
I agree that we should try again next week. As for another time, once school starts up again I'm basically going to be limited to weekends. Although I did talk to Revo after last session and he said he'd be interested if we start a new game. I've also had fun playing with you guys, and hope we can continue.
 
Is there any CK activity over at Blood and Iron? Anyway, I'll be there this Friday and we can see what happens.

On the subject of staticness, I also feel there's another problem : Basically, Just has won. Now, he's been rather nicer about it than I would be, but I do prefer to play in games where there is some kind of chance at putting a balancing coalition together, instead of relying on the mercy of the man who's winning. (I mean, it must be boring for Just too, being unable to go to war with anyone because he'd crush us like bugs!) All honour to him, he played very well, but isn't it perhaps time to declare him the winner and start something new?

Well, if we are going to start again, I think that means Revo will join us. That would be 5 if we stay in the same time slot. I just know that Justinian said he was having difficulties making the time. Just, can you stay in our Friday time slot or is it just too difficult?
 
If KES is dying, as your previous post seemed to imply, maybe we can steal some people from there?
 
if you guys are gonna restart as a conversion game I'm at least intrigued, however the current friday timeslot is impossible unless you want to start a couple of hours later. The KES timeslot (well anytime sunday morning was ok). Monday is also good for me.

Monday/tuesday night i think are ok. Weekend nights I work, not sure if im keeping them during school year though.

Ahem, what I ment to say is that if I can meet the designated timeslot and all else seems fine, I'd be happy to join a new CK MP game. Time preference would be KES time, which means sundays from 15:00 GMT and onwards 'til roughly 22:00 GMT at the latest. But as I'm sure that's not to everyone's advantage, I'll await other suggestions. Also, I'd rather try something different than the "guide-a-kingdom" game, such as everyone starting out as Dukes or something, having to work themselves up in the hierarchy. Merely a suggestion.

Well, I do agree with KoM...the game had become pretty static. I didn't really see what was left that I could do besides warring against human players, but I was reluctant to do that without just cause (except the Rus, I had plenty of just cause for that. ;)

Anyways, I'd be interested in a new game...I could probably still do Friday nights, but if it's at all possible, an hour later would work wonders for me. Weekdays would still be best, but if that's not possible...I'll try to make Fridays work.

Now, we're moving to a new apartment this weekend, so I don't expect to have internet access back up until sometime next week. On the plus side, I may have a more stable internet connection for hosting. So, don't start without me if it's a Friday night game. ;)

I also like the idea of everyone having to start at Duke or Count level and working their way up, and stricter rules about conquering Muslims/Pagans and
claim grabbing. In our last game, power got consolidated far too quickly.
 
Ok. Since there seems to be some interest, I will start a new thread about this, so that people can see there's a new game starting without having to click in here. That might help our recruiting a bit. :)

Here's the thread, for those too lazy to figure out which one it is. :) Tell you what, I'll post it over on B&I as well, soon as I get home.
