Crusader Kings 2 4k problem

Hello Community

When i play the game my interface is really tiny i have a 4k inbuilt screen monitor on my laptop and i adjust the game resolution to 1920 and 1080 and outside the game i do the same and yet the interface still acts as if it is in 4k mode.

Any chance anyone knows a fix for this problem?

This game is over 5 years old and does not feature scalable fonts I'm afraid. Of course running at a lower resolution will make the fonts appear bigger.

Aside from that, I can only suggest font mods, such as the Better Readable Font mod.

Should not matter that its 5 years old, i just played assassins creed 1 from 2007 that had its GUI resized on scale of the resolution that you are running :\

Now i have a game i spent £150 on, and paradox can't roll out an update to fix it. I am pissed off right now.

Yep unfortunatley that didnt help me either, no idea why someone has respectfully disagreed to my previous comment, i think anyone who has spent £150 $220 over the years on one game and find out you can not play the game anymore you would be pissed too...

Have you tried contacting that mod's author? He seems very helpful in solving issues.

Did Paradox officially or unofficially tell what they think about this huge scale problem in CK 2 and EU IV? Are they going to fix it? Or they just ignore this issue?
At 3840x2160 native CK 2 is simply unplayable. Scale mod is blowing up every interface screen in the game :-(

I'm not aware of any official statement, but I see no indication they are preparing to rewrite those two older games to introduce scalable fonts or UI, I'm afraid.

Have you tried the Better Readable Font mod?

After a clean install of CK 2 and GIMP 2, I made scale_ui to work and it is awesome. CK 2 in its glory at 4k. I wonder why don't Paradox contact goondo and implement his solution in CK 2/EU IV? It solves a 4K problem completely except compatibility with almost any other mod. I had to disable even Internal Tabs hotkey mod :-(

P.S. Hope goondo can add some compatibility patch to make his scale_ui work with A Game of Thrones.
