I'll try to find a boxed version in a local store first, and buy on GG only if that quest proves itself futile.
Paradox has just re-opened their shop where you can buy boxed versions of their games. Currently only the most recent ones are sold there.

I do agree that the current cover looks bad. I mean, what does a cleanshaved Justin Bieber relative in the crusades? He should at least have some beardy patches, a scar, dirty clothes from fighting in the sand, etc. But in the end, it's not on the top of my priority list.

I know, but buying a boxed version online isn't the best solution for me because I'd have to pay the game price, plus shipping, plus a 20% tariff on top of that. So it's either local store, or digital download.
I kinda have to agree about the cover art being a bit off. Then again, it's hard to compete with the art of the first game.
A beard and some dirt would help the CK2 art considerably though I think, maybe a bit busier foreground too.
