I thought I would start a CK2 wishlist for all the things that will probabably never go into a patch, or even CK2.

-Interactive scenario editor

- ability to have multiple lieges for different parts of your realm, including lieges of the same rank as your own title (aka the France-Normandy-England situation)
- more religions (Sunni/Shiite split, Monophysites, Nestorians, Nordic/Baltic/Ugric/steppe pagans split), and correct interaction between them
- more traits (see Medieval: Total War for ideas)
- no requirement for same dynasty for the player (thus allowing us to play bishoprics, republics, and knightly orders)

- More Provinces

-Cognatic Succesion Law=daughters can inherit if they have no brothers.
-To be able to have different lieges for different feuds.
-Numericals for at least Kings.

-Tie lands to liege so one ruler can have Multiple Lieges
-At least one more tier of rank Count Duke King Emperor
-a form of restricted Elective law that seperates the Rulers demesne from Royal desmene so the rulers son can inherit his power
-revolts actually mean something so they can produce new dynasties or even Republics

- inheritance laws tied to titles, rather than the same for the entire demesne,
- more options in peace negotiations (change of laws, force vassalisation, marriage, exchange of prisoners),
- possibility of pressing claims on behalf of your courtiers,
- court options (exile, execution, imprisonment),
- real imprisonment, capturing prisoners and ransoms,
- regency (i.e. effectively appointing a courtier to act as a ruler in place of a young, imprisoned or insane King/Duke/Count - the situation like this would generally decrease vassal loyalty etc.),
- more papacy options (calling crusade, appointing someone a Cardinal - instant Piety boost, "defrocking" - see below; divorce),
- option to control military orders (ability to ask for troops, sending your son to join the order, give lands to the existing order, give gold to the orders),
- more developed church system (everyone with an ecclesiastical education would have an option to go join the ranks of the clergy - doable from the commands screen - similar to "create bishopric" - giving them "clergy" trait; member of the clergy would be only eligible for bishoprics and papacy, would not be able to get married or inherit; Papal controlled would have an option to remove trait "clergy" from someone, effectively "defrocking" them - useful if your only living son is a member of the clergy already).

Yep. The scale of some of the ideas for changes in the 1.04 wishlist were way out of the league of any patch, so this is a good place to post them instead.

The world has become a fast moving place. Adjust or become extinct! :p ;)

Another tier would be nice... both the HRE and Byzantium could use it (as both seen their rulers as superior to mere kings), also, others (such as Bulgaria) should be able to claim the title of Emperor if they control Byzantion and few other provinces, thus being above the title of Tsar. Finally, it could be used by the Russian duchies... technically the Grand Prince of Kiev was the first among equals, at least around 1066 or so, and therefore could be roughly an equivalent of CK king with VERY disloyal vassals at the beginning of that scenario. Therefore, a Russian Prince who can lay claim to the title of Grand Prince of Kiev would be a rough equivalent of a CK king, however, in order to become the King/Tsar of Rus, it would require a fourth tier above that.

Better handling of HRE.

Allowing for regents to be elected when the ruler is a minor or has one of the traits that would render him/her incapacitated.

Allowing females to inherit should there be no male heir or only minor heirs (historically the latter happened a number of times).

Crusades should be more institutionalized - each time a Crusade is called any Catholic ruler can commit troops which then would be placed under command of the highest ranking/strongest monarch. Crusades should be major undertakings, and thus somewhat rare and very expensive, but they would result in extremely huge armies sent to a target province (much like MTW) - after conquering the target province and establishing a county/duchy subject to the leading ruler, with the rest of the armies reverting to their original owners who can then conquer at will while getting a large prestige and piety bonus for successful crusade. Thus a successful crusade would be most beneficial to the highest ranking nation on there, however, the others can then try to get chunks of territory in the region on their own, similar to the historic Crusades.

Make the game more vicky style (sorry for the bias on vicky) and start the game some where in the middle of the dark ages. That would be more interesting.
I don't think CK2 would be out anytime sooner than (when??)???
I have no idea. One thing for sure it's not in these few years.
I dread CK and i rarely play it. SO i really hope there would be more improvemnets.
CK fans out there, pray. For me, i would pray that Paradox would try to work on Vicky.(perhaps EU3)

-Greater Maps (more provinces)

-To could name your own childs, like you name regiments in Vichy (A propossal by the computer, and if you don't like it, you can write a name you like)

-More Traits and more faces

-Family Tree, to get a better view of your Royal Family

-Kings, Queens, and other should have numbers as well as surnames (like William I The Conquerror)

Better yet, make CK 2 and EU 3 into one seamless game with gameplay from dark middle ages into french revolution.
