does anyone have an idea what time the dlc will go live tomorrow?

also someone said something about thinking the treasury system was only available as part of the dlc, but i remmember in one of the dev diaries or streams they said it was part of the free update, but the actual items you could get were severely limited without the exapansion.

People often say it's going to be 6pm, but the last few have been a little earlier. I think the last one came at about 3pm, but my memory could be wrong.

The changelog concurs with what you say about the treasury.

Are all the Quality of Life updates (from those 2 Dev Dairies) only for people who purchase the dlc?

I'm somehow sorry to bother him just for that, but I think that @podcat should definitely see this.

Been so pumped to start a new game, but been holding off till this hit.

Pity Paradox still goes by Swedish time, so sad and sick that they can't go by East Australian Summer Time. It is going to be Yuge, all DLC's should be launched to AEST!

The what?

There was a Sassanid kingdom-level province called Padishkhwargar which covered the mountains along the south of the Caspian (and the Padishkhwargarshah was the shah of Padishkhwargar). It'd roughly match up to Azerbaijan/Tabriz/Tabaristan duchies on the CK2 map (iirc). It was resistant to the encroachment of Islam for a much longer time than it ever is in game unless played well by a human, and the title was claimed with reasonable de facto force at least up to the death of Shirvin Bavandid (am I spelling that right? The heir to Tabriz in the Charlemagne start).

A kingdom-level top tier title for the Zoroastrians in the area would help them last out longer, as they should, and this one makes perfect historical sense to have in. Could be implemented as a landed kingdom in that bookmark, a titular kingdom, or formable by decision/event, depending on what P'dox think.

It's one of a couple of big examples of the 769 de jure map really looking like it's just had the 1066 borders left in on the basis that not many people will notice how odd it is. Not the worst one, but it still gets to me.

Those examples are modifiers, not variables, so it wouldn't work that way. Variable just store data, they don't change anything about the game on their own.
The line about global variables and the list of new modifiers are totally unrelated. You can use these new modifiers anywhere you can use the old ones.

Just noticed a great fix I hoped would happen:
When the holder of a viceroyalty dies, they'll now be replaced in wars by their regular heir, not their liege
Thank you! It's so infuriating that a local war for increased council power suddenly became about your own council power. Or that this could suddenly happen in the middle of another civil war, thus giving you more enemies to fight.

Gotta agree with you there! Home from work and keen as mustard to play CKII M&M expansion.

More importantly: When will 2.6.3 be available as a "beta update" on Steam so I won't have to be paranoid about screwing up my current campaign by launching the game? I have no desire to go back to 2.6.2.

Don't get me wrong, I'll buy the new expansion regardless, the QoL improvement are worth the price of admission alone, but I need to finish this one before I start another.

I know, first world problems and all of that.
