You have an interesting definition of vital then, its not like you can't play without the prisoner filters, they just come in handy. Though I do agree that allied army orders somewhat help the AI and could therefore be considered vital.

Well I consider it vital because its a basic quality of life update just like most of the free patch interface stuff since it doesn't add any new game changing mechanics and it wasn't part of the bug fixes. Especially when you have like 20 to 100+ prisoners, I would say that feature becomes pretty vital.
Also what is annoying about this all is the prisoner filters was put into 2 different dev diaries that showed off basically only the free interface updates... not to mention the prisoner filter is probably the most useful, and will be most commonly used update to the interface. Since the current method to release, ransom, and execute prisoners is super janky and time consuming.
I really hope they reconsider and make the prisoner filter and AI orders free in the hot patch.
I hope the modding community gets busy. The original CK/EU font has always been a blurry mess to my weakening eyesight. Hopefully someone will upgrade the font mods asap to work in 2.7
That was already fixed internally, but couldn't make it into the release version in time. Should be fixed in either the hotfix or the first patch after that.
Why, there are 5 non-pagan religions to realistically have underground communities (Zoroastrian, Jewish, Shi'a, Miaphysite and Nestorian) and two of those lack them despite religions who could profess in relaxation (Catholic, Sunni and even worse reformed paganism) who do have them...
I'm kind of bummed out that ordering your allies during wars is not included in the free patch, considering how the AI pathing in your own wars as allies is less than adequate making them unreliable.
Now 'free features' mean truly free, as in I dont need to buy the dlc to use them yes? A few updates ago an admin listed 'ask courtiers to leave' as a free feature when it was only available through an expansion.
