I am quite sure I will defect to CK MP now when I have played the game for a bit. I'll really just finish my current EU2 MP games and after that it'll be CK MP all the way ;).

But in general, which game is more simple in play? I do not mean less to click, as cheech said, but which is more logical (?)

And a small pragmatic question: Which game is cheaper? "CK or Victoria?" (they say Krakowians are old Scots who were baned from Scotland for avarice - no offence cheech).

Ahhh, another one joining the Forces of Fun! Most excellent :)

I am not sure what you mean with that, both CK and VIC are logical, there are not much inconsisties with either. The only real thing where I do not like the logic of CK is the fact that troops can be transported by navy an unlimited distance, I'd rather feel much more happier if there was either:
a) a limit for the distance in the game based on techology
b) a house rule (especially in MP) limiting the distance one can transport troops (after all, it is the human mind that is most capable of exploiting the naval-transport thingy, the AI simply can't comprehend to that...)

I have ordered a new motherboard and cpu, which will arrive tomorrow or wednesday. So hopefully, I will be able to play CK without all that performance hanging... which means that I'll probably try out some CK MP soon.

Logic was not good word. I more mean which one is more 'user friendly'

There is no attrition thing?

Ahh... well, it really depends on what you like. Victoria has lots of micromanaging, but good ledgers. CK lacks ledgers, so at times (in MP where you can't pause) it is a hard time to find for example the right person to the right positions, and there might be something important going on you'll miss when you try to decide who your next Spy Master will be or try to find a bride for you or something like that.

Yes, altough it is much less than on neutral/enemy land. I am sure if the attrition for long transports would be *much* higher we wouldn't see long naval transports :)

No pause?? Hmmmm that can be a little annoying.

Anyway 'I see I have to see' both games in real to decide. Someone know is there are some demos or so?

Yeah I too miss the ledgers. It's quite easy to forget about an army, and then lose lots of cash on it because it's not disbanded after a war.... :(

Well, the game *has* a pause, but if you intend to play MP (be it EU2 or CK) with me or some other people who have rather aggressive thoughts on ***holes who keep pausing the game, then you'd better keep your finger away from that Pause-button. Nothing is more annoying than a **** who keeps pausing the game for everyone because the phone happened to ring, an event fired where you have to take the very difficult action to press OK, or some other "important" reason.

IMO, general rule for any MP: Don't pause, don't unpause. Only the host or GM pauses/unpauses. If you absolutely need to have the game paused, ask the host or GM to pause.

LOL I am never pausing cause of some afk or so. But sometimes (like big peace or when someone breaking house rules) you have to pause. That is why I said it is annoying. I was think there is no 'pause' option at all.
