Hello customer/tech support person,
First I am enjoying King Arthur 2 the Role-Playing Wargame, but have just encountered a crash to desktop, and no amount of reloading and trying a different set of actions has helped me. Now this isn't going to be a very helpful bug report because I am not very computer savvy. However before I continue I will add that I tried to find the save game files to attach to this post, but the save file in the KA2 folder is empty. Not sure how that works as I know I have save games.
Well on to the problem.
Having come to the end of book(?) 3, Northward Bound. I travel up with Morgan le Fay (sp?) and enter the final dialog/adventure. And no matter the order I proceed in, the game crashes the moment I hit the close/finish button for my sweet +150 exp and gold etc..
I noticed that the quest/adventure did not state, like some do, that it could only be completed by Morgan le Fay (sp?), so I next tried completing it with Princey. However once again no matter the order, the event crashes to desktop the moment I hit the close/finish button. Also the dialog clearly is intended for Morgan le Fay, not the Prince so I guess that was a long shot anyway.
Well that's that. 135 turns in and CtD. If you can recommend some place I might find the save game file I'd be happy to attach it/them. Not sure however where it/they are to be found. I have started a new game to see if I can't just get lucky and dodge the bug second time around.
On a side note I just wanted to add, though you likely already know.
1- I have noticed I gain no reputation from defeating fomorians with King Cole.
2- Also the Non-Aggression treaties seem to be forever despite having agreed to three or five year contracts.
3- The narrator's voice over, amusingly, does not match the text dialog. although it has never been terribly different, he might say, sword, and the text, staff, etc..
