Starting in the Clash of Kings bookmark, I see a sudden CTD around February or April. This happened over several games ,and I'm not sure what the exact cause might be.

Edit:

Thanks to wizardchakka on Citadel for removed this thread and Ninjaloota7 below for bring it to my attention. Essentially, it seems like there is an issue with the unoccupied_province_events.txt file which seems to be the cause of the crash. I can confirm since removing it that the game runs fine without any problems. Delete it from your files, and make sure to have a backup running just in case.

I haven't tested it with this fix yet, but it's funny because I've always had CTD's in the past, so with this version -- before getting invested in a save file -- I ran several games in console observe mod. On average, I'd always CTD 30 years in, but I had one game take 200+ years before it finally had a CTD. I'm not sure what could cause a CTD to happen earlier than others, but just something I found interesting.

I do have a mid-high desktop gaming PC though, so maybe my PC's performance was somehow carrying the weight of the bug.

Wow, unlanded ruins marrying women. Now I've seen it all.

There is a fix on another forum that apparently can't be linked. Good policy whoever made it Kappa. Regardless you can find it if you go elsewhere (how vague do I have to be).

It is the greatest place of knowledge in all of Westeros, where maesters are trained to discuss and make submods!

The fix is on the citadel forum, the main forum for the game of thrones mod. It's under the bug reports section in a thread called "Crashing on certain date".
