CTD on yearly autosave

Hi, I'm playing on a rather old and inadequate PC, but I insist sharing my experience with you.

Got going a pretty good vanilla game of Absolutist Monarchy for the Prussia into Germany, already with good advantage in technology, ready to battle Austria and France, going for some achievements, roleplaying on a nice 3 gamespeed.

But lately been getting a couple of CTDs lately, like, every new year on autosave. On clean installation Workshop downloaded some mods (never executed, feeling like vanilla this playthough/installation); might try verificating files from Steam, disabling cosmethics DLC, lowering graphics...

Get to you after trying the things listed above, and trying to play for more than a year without crashing, not really feeling like reinstalling btw...

Given you have only 8gb of system memory this is almost certainly due to running low on available memory; autosave consumes a fair bit all by itself.


Please expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb

AND exit every other app you can before starting the game.
