I've got problems with some random events that make my game CtD on a regular basis.
I use EU2 v.1.04, italian translated version (by Leader SpA) on two PCs, a desktop (P3 733, 512mb RAM, 20G hd, WinXP Pro, GeForce1, SBLive), and a laptop (Athlon 1200, 256mb RAM, 20G hd, unknown video card, unknown soundcard, WinXP Home).
The game ALWAYS crashes when these events occur (I tried this using cheat mode):
event #1020 Enthusiasm For The Navy
event #1052 Cessation Of Church Functions To Nobility
event #1053 Sale Of Offices
event #1063 italian Engineer Available
event #1064 Foreign Drill Instructor Available
event #1065 Build A Great Palace
event #1076 Exceptional Court Painter Available
I don't know when (or, better: IF
) the italian publisher will ever release a patch resolving these problems, given the fact that other italian users have reported the same, but I would try to work around the problem by myself, so I need some help from you.
I looked in the text.csv and in the randomevents.txt files to find something in these events that would be different from others perfectly working, but I couldn't figure anything strange; so I ask you, are there other files (possibly involved in the traslation) that can relate to these events?
