I've been having a CTD when *grouping* 2 armies in Yanbu, on the coast of Arabia. They had disembarked separately shortly before.
I managed to get through by saving the game right before grouping the units, and reloading CK3 with the fresh save. Here's this fresh save for that is all I have :-/ so apparently no crash here anymore.
Note: when I made the save and continued without relaunching CK3, it still did crash. I needed a fresh CK3 instance for grouping to go through.

Hello there! We've already confirmed this issue, but thank you for the report!

A little workaround when you want to merge armies:
1. Select the two (and only two) of armies you want merge.
2. Click Reorganize button.
3. In one of the armies there should be one regiment of levies that has 0 and its bar seems to load continuously - it should be on bottom of the list one of the armies.
4. Move all your other regiment from that army to another, which should be leave one army with only one regiment - that with 0 levies.
5. Select army that has normal regiments.
6. Army with 0 levies should disappear, leaving you with one merged army.

Hope this will help at least slightly improve your gameplay until we release our next fix. We currently don't know workaround for this issue in case of splitting armies, apologies for that.
