CTD when loading Aberation

The aberration scenario won't load for me. I get a CTD everytime when it's in the "initializing script" stage. I did a clean install, patched with 1.08, patched over with the May 29 2004 beta patch, and then unzipped the aberation folder into my EU folder. What am I doing wrong?

Well that is not the right Beta, it should be a 2005 one

If that is just a typo by you then I am not sure what is your problem

Aberration II betas are designed to be played with 1.08 and the April 19 2005 patch. Otherwise you will definitely have problems, as that final patch had the new province definitions.

It may be a typo, but not by me. It's the name of the file.

Download that and everything should be fine. The top download on that page is the earliest beta patch not the newest one.
