Just this one game, others are OK? If so, we are seeing a few reports of this, as you can see in other threads here. But let's check some basics: please post your settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload). Also open setup.log, search for "checksum", and paste that line only in here.

It's just this one game and I've been playing since release.

That looks basically fine, although I think you're in line for a video driver update; assuming you have Vista 32bit it's http://www.geforce.com/Drivers/Results/41697

If that doesn't help, let me know and I'll add your game to my problem report, thanks.

OK, thanks for trying that. I've added your game to the problem report.

I guess it will be OK if i use this topic to report another CTD - I'm having it in the year 1215 (the only special thing that happen during that year is that i get the first notice about the mongols getting near - though the crash occurs much later the same year, so i don't know if there is any connection), playing the Piast dynasty. I'll add my DXdiag and the whole log folder, as well as the autosave from the game (the crash occured the second time now)

And here is my checksum line from the setup.log:
Code:
[ck_application.cpp:770]: Checksum is CK2 v1.03b (KUMH) 2008970402

Thank you. Actually I hadn't thought of the game.log but that might reveal whether there's anything in common between these; if the others above read this can you add that file to your posts above please (or zip up the whole logs folder)? Same with any subsequent posters. Thank you.

OK thanks, nothing whatsoever in common there.

If it is not the issue this thread is dealing with (consistent crash or hang while loading particular save games) then start a fresh thread, with full system and problem details please.
