i dont know if thats any help

Sadly the logs doesn't say anything.

But you are able to start the game and play for while(i.e. not crash at startup)?

If you are somewhat computer savvy, could you please press the windows button + 'r' and type "eventvwr" and press enter. This should start the event viewer application.

In this application, select "windows logs"->"application". Can you find anything here about ck2.exe?

I'm in the same situation ; here is the application error event information I retrieved from the event viewer :

Please upload a dxdiag

Indeed ! The suggested driver is not the same if you use the Nvidia panel and if you search their website the old way... And I've got to admit I always favor the lazy way... I'll tell you if the problem persists once I'm up to date.

I'm also getting a CTD during playing the game. It keeps happening at a similar point when I reload the last autosave. The application error from the event viewer is:

Have you tried the suggested fixes in this thread?

http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?585417-crash-when-loading-save-games

If yes and it still doesn't work, please upload your savegame

Don't think the fixes will help since the game loads up fine and I haven't marked any characters as of interest. The crash seems to occur after a few months of game time.

I don't seem to be able to upload a save game file since even when compressed the file size is too large.

Very rarely, a CTD occurs when I click on the Realm Tree icon on the character screen. It's only happened twice now, so I don't know if that's enough to actually warrant a bug.

Same here. But it only happens after some time in a game, not right after loading a saved game. I think it only CTD after something changed the Realm Tree (new Ruler or Vassal)
