Hey all,

This is a pretty trivial question, but here goes: still on Kingdom of Sicily game, briefly conquered Jerusalem, turned it Catholic Greek (under Greek de Hauteville dynasty) and then created the Duchy of Jerusalem and gave it to a Greek vassal. Later I'm having trouble holding the KoJ area so hand over the whole kingdom to a talented courtier, who promptly loses most of it to the Egyptians (who no longer own any land in Egypt :D ). Egyptians turn it Muslim and Arab again, and when I reconquer it I do so determined to hold it. So it's in my personal demesne, and it's still Arab Muslim, but I raised the troops there for a recent war and, out of curiosity, looked at the army stats. Their culture was Italian! Despite the fact that the province has never been Italian in this game...

I've noticed a few similar discrepancies before.

What's going on here?

Cheers,
Stigandr.

You'd think it was bug because most probably it is... but you can think of it as you neighbors/brothers/cousins, the Italians, taking advantage of your grand demesne or mini new world.
