I just noticed that Welsh dosent have the _commonnames to make regal numbers work and uses de for surnames too. And many other cultures have them either.
And lots of individual mods have changed individual entires, the Saxon Mod changes the Saxon names, theres a greek mod that changes the Greek ones, etc. But as far as i know, if you run two mods at the same time that both change the same file only one version of it gets used.
So whats needed is a single thread for the single file, for people to repair and ammend the names and also to add new names.
Here is what ive got for Saxons, its not perfect as i didnt think about common names until just now so it lacks them, but its got new spelling so thats something. But more importantly its an example of the sort of thing in mind for this thread. Just post your suggestion for an change to the Cultures.txt [i just noticed i misstyped the title!! too late now so no worries], anyway, just post your suggestions or changes to the cultures.txt and anyone who wants them just copies them down into their own.
Multiple variations of the same entry are fine and indeed encouraged!
And now before i start on the Welsh, at this point just adding _Alexander and _David and etc not changing anything, has anyone else already done it?
And also does anyone speak welsh well enough to know if its 'am ' or 'gan ' for the from_dynasty_prefix
